I laughed so hard at this.

I’m a white person living in a rural, predominately white community in Southern IN. When I was younger and my family would go on a vacation or a trip to a big city, Dad would always put a pistol under the driver’s seat and be sure to lock the car doors. It was just natural to be cautious and anxious in those places.
