They still make the Mitsubishi Galant?

Also, Chuck Zito was in attendance last night. That’s gotta count for something.

As for picking a player and becoming a fan of the team:

Are we sure that’s not just Bill Romanowski?

Eat, sleep, train.

You missed it, buddy.

Ok, I’ll be that guy.

I didn’t watch this game, and I won’t watch the embedded video because if I’ve never heard it myself, there’s clearly no racism in Boston.

Just because Diaz didn’t get injured, it doesn’t mean he “wasn’t in clear danger of injury”. He was right behind the bag when Happ slid six feet over it. It may not be a perfect rule, but not enforcing it because someone didn’t get hurt is contrary to the rule in the first place.

Don’t worry, the wahhhhmbulance is on its way.

Fuck this game. >:-(

It’s one thing if you feel sorry about the situation, like you’re sad this guy did this because you would’ve loved to see him play, but this is something else entirely.

So what are you saying, that it’s “old hat” to call out the president for being a creep? How long exactly do we have to call out someone who once looked at a 10-year old and said, “I’m gonna date her in ten years”?

I played for a year and hated it, mostly because I sucked. So most of my attitudes toward Rugby are colored by that experience, and I won’t give anyone a hard time for liking the sport. That said...

It boggles the mind how differently rugby and soccer players treat the ref. It’s like night and day, with the rugby refs not willing to take an ounce of shit from anyone.

The already-famous highlight from this match is at 2:35 when the English players ask the ref what they should do, and he reminds them he’s not their coach.

This whole thing just smacks of a publicity stunt, like Ellen’s “selfie” which was basically a paid-for advertisement for Samsung.

I see your Iron Lotis and raise you a Princess Di.

Also, stay off Tom’s lawn.
