Big league. :p

1. Why should it matter that its out of the blue? The point stands.

Gotta respect Elon. He is definitely one of the most innovative people in Silicon Valley right now. Even if I don’t really see a way of this working for the reasons BlondieRock13 said above, I definitely admire his ingenuity.

Keep posting the walrus comic and avoiding a rational conversation. I don’t mind people disagreeing with me, but why can’t we discuss it?

This would be a good argument if it was a permanent ban. But its not. This is a way of revamping security. I would love to see a better way of doing things. Obviously, this is a very unideal choice. But it needs to be done.

Preliminary measures.

The Trump administration gains fewer American deaths. Thats his job as the leader of the country.

The US is irrelevant. The world is the statistic to look at. The key is to determine which countries currently seem to be a threat, not what was a threat. Did the Trump administration do a good job of picking which countries are a threat? I don’t have the answer to that question. But I agree with the premise.

You are right. This is what I responded to Carrer, who said the same thing as you:

Thank you for your serious answer. What I would respond to you is that, yes, there will be those that are going to be harmed by doing this, but I don’t see a way of revamping security measures without doing a complete review of the current method and starting fresh. Officially they are making exceptions on a case by

Oh, sorry about that.

No one is “condemning” anybody. We are putting a TEMPORARY ban in place so we can improve vetting procedures, not banning them forever.

Here we go again.

I understand. The point I was trying to make was that they are hotbeds of terror, and we do have to be scared that anyone trying to enter the US may be a terrorist.

Because if those countries don’t seem to be where terrorism is coming from now, then why would you do that? And if it is, then you are saying that you do agree with the premise, just not the actual execution of which countries were banned, correct?

ISIS is not growing?

We’re not trying to punish them, Mr. Foster. Refer to my original answer to Sipowitz. Please share with me a better way to do this, as a reinforced measure for vetting is necessary.

Why can’t we really have a civil conversation on a public forum, Mr. Foster? I answered every question directed at me.

Why would that be stupid?

That is something that is almost logistically impossible to do. But if someone figures out a way to do this, I will stand with you in supporting this effort. At the same time, it does not have to be one or the other. I support both efforts.
