It’s nothing new.

At least it's not self-contradictory like it used to be. Do you want me to dodge, or ram? I can't do both.

The next Silverado; the entire truck is shaped like the badge.

I see lots of grumbling in the comments about 3.5L turbo V6s not belonging in flagships. Have we learned nothing from the saga of the Jaguar XJ220? Or have we learned the wrong lessons?

Competition:

To heck with towing or torque; can we have column about which vehicle has the biggest damn nameplate?

They got the Golden Arches, mine is the Golden Arcs.

I know right? 4 wheels? At least TRY not to look like a Honda Accord.

Now you tell me. I just left a deposit on one.

Access. If you flat on a trail, a rock or outcropping or just the depth of the wheel ruts can make it very difficult to get the spare out from underneath.

The Fiesta driver was just demonstrating that they are ready for the Ferrari Challenge series.

He’s talking about how he feels right now. It’s the worst he ever felt, not the worse than can happen.

Some time ago Ms. Schrader did a great article on her experience having a concussion. In short, you have to stay home and let your brain rest, similar to how you would let your leg rest after a leg-related sports injury. From her article:

If you can tell me all the other cars you’d rather drive than this then it’s not for you. Car love is weird and subjective and you daily driving anything else is just that... your own weird, quirky car love opinion (man).

I’m not saying you’re doing it wrong, but a soldered joint done properly will be WAY stronger. A crimped union should be plenty strong though.

Nothing pissed me off more than when I make the perfect solder connection only to realize I forgot to put the heat shrink on first

No, the Vette driver was not “ultimately responsible”. If the truck had accidentally dinged or sideswiped the car, that’d be one thing, but this was intentional vandalism - which is not a reasonable expectation, which is why that coward truck driver hid his license tags.

Stef,
