Have you ever listened to Robbie Basho? Another great 12 string guitarist who played in alternate tunings. John Fahey and Jack Rose could also be influences. Do you know what tuning John is playing in the video?

My life is pretty ordinary. I’m not the most confident person either, but even when I play this I feel like the coolest bad-ass in the damn world. No dance parties/clubs, I just play this on the bus or in my house.

I knew what sensimilla was but have never heard it called Kaya. Thanks Space-Cowboy, I’m a wiser soul now.

Haha that’s true. Never again will I.

Who does everyone have winning the Liverpool vs. Chelsea match? I’m taking bets but will only show the favorite or the point spread till after the match. Cheers.

“I can recommend to you the Obama Kush.” That’s just pure awesome Patrick! Recommend this post so we can all bask in the fantastic weed related scent that is this sentence.

“the EPL and our TV screens for Marseille and Ligue 1 and fuzzy illegal online streams.” Haha that is so true. You sir, are a great football writer.

“Don Nelson hauls ass down there giving us high-fives like “yeah, we can smoke now!”” That is a dank story bro! And if Don is out there embarrased about this getting out, he shouldn’t be dude. He needs to be in the Hall of Fame. If he were a strain he’d definitely be an OG.

MF Doom might have been weird last night, so here’s some Avalanches w/Camp Lo. It’s surprising this album isn’t as highly regarded as I thought it would be, though Since I Left You is definitely a tough act to follow.

Another day in the life, minus the machete of course. “Retarted in real life, on the mic rain man.”

Not entirely political, this is a song that could serve as a soundtrack for the hectic moments in our Sunday football matches. Match going smoothly, scenery peaceful except for a few kids running around, and then BAM! Upheaval.

Not many remember the plight of Kiwi’s back in the 2000's either, but at least they gave us some great music.

That is one of the best blues song titles ever. Bo Carter has some great titles as well but I think that’s at least tied with “Your Biscuits Are Big Enough For Me.”

Jagger looks a little like leather face on the cover, but this is one of my favorite songs all time. I would have loved to have heard this live 72-73.

Is that Alan Jackson? It’s about 5 o clock here but I’d rather play The Pogues for drink related tunage. Cheers though.

Interesting that you’d recommend the Bulls to trade Butler, there’s not a lot of people that seem to take that position. I don’t know about getting rid of him but it seems like a few players aren’t ready or talented enough to be the leader/focal point of offense, but simply are because there is no one else to do it.

Agreed, it is the age old dilemma. In some way we will always have to deal with the profit motive.

You mentioned that there is always someone willing to do the job for less money, but what about machines? Machines can’t strike, don’t need vacation, sick days, etc. To me the battle will be less about striving for higher wages but more about who will own the producers. Do you think we would win if the machines became

The 6.4% private sector union rate is incredible, not in a good way. Also I don’t know if anyone’s seen youtube videos of Rick Roderick, the old Duke professor. The vid quality is terrible but I like to listen to them. In one lecture he talked about unions, “American workers used to have them, we had steadily raising
