I do love me some inline 6s though. The packaging sucks though.

They are underwhelming when stock and tossing an exhaust on them doesn’t do any favors. Only way to correct a VQ in any application is turbo or keep it quiet.

Those are running a supercharger right? Something about boost seems to help correct the bad noises even if it isn’t a turbo. Turbo VQs for instance are acceptable, not great but not offensive, you just don’t see them often in stuff like the Z.

Oh man the v6 Camaro is so much worse then the VQ. Thankfully not many people shove exhausts under them as they are mainly rentals and wife cars.

That still has that sound that just sounds tinny. But it’s on the acceptable side in regards to VQs.

Can it actually hold it’s own against sports cars on the track. And no the drag strip is not what I am talking about. Clearly car makers want us to embrace SUVs as the new sports car.

I never really paid attention to Alfa through the years but I met a guy who has some amazing examples. One day I will find myself a older Alfa to enjoy. These years in between are weird and cool in their own way though.

I disagree, stock or after market the only way they sounded acceptable was with a set of turbos shoved under the hood.

A lot of cars on that short list are Alfa’s. Its not short like 1 or 2 cars, but it is short when compared to all the V6 models released. Also I am not sure that particular car is a good comparison, it is after all a race car. The regular versions do sound really good.

Yeah I just kinda grouped them all together because everyone wanted that 350Z sound and a good exhaust for the other non Z/G became few and far between.

Most V6s sound like trash, you won’t be changing my mind on that. The VQ series of engines are fucking horrible.

This, however, is one of those rare beautiful sounding V6s. I say its likely because its a Ferrari V8 missing some cylinders. This car is on a very very short list.

Pretty much, that would have been no effort instead of barely any effort.

My favorite are the systems that start guessing how much you need for a month. Oh you used $50 bucks this month, better make it $150 next month. Oh you are out of the country this month, OK $150 anyways even though you still have $100 bucks on the card.

I think the real issue here is how they announced it. Why post it in stations, their website, anywhere other than twitter when you have one easy place few will see it.

I am OK with them fucking themselves over for a few years because we got some awesome cars we otherwise would only ever get to look at across the pond.

I think those are going to land in the 35k range.

Well, I have some exciting news for you. Buick is doing almost exactly this. Except they are not calling their station wagon a Sport-SUV, they were not creative enough for that so its just getting called a SUV.

Identical cars, you would likely still end up with a ticket. Plus a lot of places go as far as to say no reparking on the same block.

You would think it would work that way but you have just as much chance of the judge ordering you not to even park the cars there. This is america, the judges are not always on the side of what is written in the law.
