That’s only his middle name. Though maybe he gets that middle name from somewhere.

Looking into this now its likely the dealership screwed up/ was super shady and marked them “in service” too soon. That means they are burning their warranty just sitting there. I didn’t really google this stuff back then and went off the word of the two dealers so its possible they were scamming as well. It is in…
This was about 8 years ago, my friend found out the hard way that his warranty was up 6 months earlier then when it should have been based off the purchase of the new car. That date matched with the manufacturing date.
EDIT: So I asked him if he ever found out why it started when it did and he said the car was a…
Yeah the warranties on Toyota/Lexus last I checked is based off of manufacturing date, not sale date. Unless Lexus is doing something different here these cars are out of warranty.
Even the ones in the middle of nowhere are starting to not be safe. There is a little race track in Davis that was thought to be safe until the miles between town and the track were turned into houses.
Mr. Durden sounds like the fall guy for FCA. 1.2 million isn’t a lot in the grand scheme but someone above him likely told him to go for it.
Nice, so now they are just doing it for purse then?
At the same time it makes a bit of sense though as these younger drivers get to see the talent up close. Maybe just remove them from the points but allow them to take home a part of the purse if they win.
That is what I said. I did forget one other group that benefits from them sticking around and that is contractors and suppliers. Customers are sure as hell not benefiting from them selling cars.
I am not exactly sure them sticking around is really all that much of a positive for anyone but shareholders and employees.

The frame is like that because they knew the brakes would fail you and you would crash. This was somewhat before the time that they realized cars driving away from a head on was not good for the passengers.
They did the 240 vert. Every one of their products is as bad as possible without making the OEM mad. How they still get contracts is beyond me... Wait they do it for super cheap so the OEMs don’t care.
Was Harrison Ford in the pilots seat?
The F10 wasn’t a lemon, service trips are a feature.
They won’t stop, they will likely turn to shit that will hurt the man and get them arrested.
Being completely honest I would likely be a user of it if I was his neighbor.
Because you don’t know the law.
A group is going to be harmed, well according to them, the companies making these cars become their own competition. Ex. Mercades and gray market cars costing less or some shit so they get mad and get them banned.
