Schilling spent several years in the bullpen as well. Wins are irrelevant, and I only cited them to follow the original poster.

It’s more valuable and more difficult to pitch as a starter than out of the bullpen, andddd I’m pretty sure those seasons are included in the stats I posted for Smoltz, so mentioning Smoltz’s bullpen stint only diminishes his resume
