My understanding is you do a full backup of your device. Then you restore to apple's rom, updated, etc. Then Restore to your backup to get your settings/etc back

Honestly, being a bulldog (literally) is all you have to do. Mine just looks at us with that adorable face and treats and love flow a plenty. We put him on a diet, so now its just love, but he still gets it anytime he looks at us.

I'm the geek in a house of non-geeks. Harmony Remote plus a good set of instructions which can be found on the XBMC forum are the way to go. My wife can easily turn on XBMC, no problems.

I liked First Class. I think it was well done. But X-Men tells a different story to Avengers. X-Men do face discrimination for being 'freaks.' I'm not a big Marvel reader, but I think that discrimination was a large subplot. I remember that from the cartoons I watched as a kid, and the occasional book I read.

Tim Burton's Batman was campy?! While it was definitely a movie of its decade, I would hardly call it campy. Joel Schumacher will never have any respect as a film maker as far as I'm concerned, but I think you're harsh on Burton.

The reason I stayed away from the droid was the screen size. A big screen is nice in concept, but I think the iphone has a good size screen.

The tools which are cost effective are crappy. I'm lucky if I can get a single use out of them. And I'm not going to invest in expensive tools, unknowing if I'll need them ever again. I think it depends on the need. If I was going to do multiple idevices, then yes. I replaced the battery in my old school 40 GB ipod.
