I “Harbor Freight” every new tool I can. I buy it first at Harbor Freight and if I use it enough to the point that it wears down, I’ll go buy a nicer one from Home Depot/Lowe’s.

I agree, I still think the TRUE Lifehacker approach is in that "day 2" coverage. I'd rather focus on that then churning out a ton of news posts that, frankly, a lot of our readers don't care about.

I like the "just the facts" summary approach, both as a reader and a writer. A lot gets lost when there are too many posts/articles on the same thing. (And I kind of really get nervous covering news like this because it can be overwhelming, but this approach makes it easier. Still, thankfully this was Thorin's job…

wow, enabling this was a PITFA! first you enable email, then SMS, then Google Authenticator, then you verify your backup codes... if you don't do any of the steps in a timely manner Evernote logs you off and you have to do it all over again...
