I agree, I still think the TRUE Lifehacker approach is in that "day 2" coverage. I'd rather focus on that then churning out a ton of news posts that, frankly, a lot of our readers don't care about.
I like the "just the facts" summary approach, both as a reader and a writer. A lot gets lost when there are too many posts/articles on the same thing.
