I “Harbor Freight” every new tool I can. I buy it first at Harbor Freight and if I use it enough to the point that it wears down, I’ll go buy a nicer one from Home Depot/Lowe’s.

I agree, I still think the TRUE Lifehacker approach is in that "day 2" coverage. I'd rather focus on that then churning out a ton of news posts that, frankly, a lot of our readers don't care about.

I like the "just the facts" summary approach, both as a reader and a writer. A lot gets lost when there are too many posts/articles on the same thing. (And I kind of really get nervous covering news like this because it can be overwhelming, but this approach makes it easier. Still, thankfully this was Thorin's job

wow, enabling this was a PITFA! first you enable email, then SMS, then Google Authenticator, then you verify your backup codes... if you don't do any of the steps in a timely manner Evernote logs you off and you have to do it all over again...

Doctors will typically see their hospitalized patients before heading into the office. This can delay 8am appointments just as much, if not more than any other.
