What disappointments beyond your opinion of the casting? And, no, it won’t tank. How in the world did you conclude there was a high chance of that happening?

1. Doesn’t actually solve the first issue and you know damn well people would still complain.

Meh... this is the kind of stuff that doesn’t really bother me much at all. A fictional character in a superhero movie? I really enjoy these movies, but as far as concerns go they are far, far down my list.

But that doesn’t really seem to be much of a concern where fictional characters are concerned. And, look, they also changed the gender of the Ancient One as well as the race of Mordo and no one seems concerned about those things. People are just highly selective/hypocritical about which changes they will accept.
