I remember that E3. That was Gathering of Developers/ GoDGames, in 2001. They were “protesting” the “ban” on booth babes that the ESA implemented that year by not getting an official E3 booth and doing that dumb shit.
I do not have pet rabbits any more, but if I were able to get one or two I would ABSOLUTELY name one Pork (Bun) and the other Chicken (Bun).
Their CBA is also for shit. The union agreed to never strike, which is why Spanfeller’s been able to violate it repeatedly over the past few years (exercising editorial control, firing the entire writing staff of Deadspin, etc) and the staff hasn’t been able to do much about it other than tweet.
I don’t think them being different productions is what will keep Orlando Jones away, since he’s no longer under contract with American Gods.
I feel like there’s a pin that’s going to drop someday with Gaiman where he’s been up to Warren Ellis-style shenanigans with the women in his fanbase for years, but for whatever reason it didn’t happen at the same time as it did for Warren (Neil’s got a lot more Hollywood clout than Warren does, so he might be…
Thing that’s most interesting to me is the double grip buttons, which sort of matches a patent Valve filed a while ago for an updated Steam Controller with double grip buttons, and makes me wonder if we might also be approaching a Steam Controller 2.0 announcement, maybe in conjunction with the full details about the…
Rotten Tomatoes doesn’t ‘interpret’ reviews. Critics submit their reviews to Rotten Tomatoes and mark their reviews as ‘fresh’ or ‘rotten.’
1. A C64 was my family’s computer up until 1994, when I was in 6th grade. And we gave that C64 to my cousins, and it was their first computer, when we finally got a PC (and we weren’t poor. We were a pretty firmly middle class family in a middle class suburb of Los Angeles). My older brother’s friends had a C128 and…
You know that ‘millenials’ are in their late 30s and early 40s now and many of them had C64s as kids?
It seems pretty clear from this trailer that Seldon himself isn’t trying to overthrow the Empire, but that the Emperor is reacting to his prediction of the Empire’s inevitable downfall as a direct challenge to the infallibility of their rule and the indestructibility of the Empire itself, so they’re trying to silence…
Machu Picchu is an ancient city in the mountains of Peru and an incredibly important historic artifact.
Even as a trade event E3 was always more about big money deals between publishers, hardware makers, and retailers. All digital E3 fills that gap about as well as the Santa Monica Airport E3 of 2007, which EVERYBODY fucking hated.
Simmons has been ripped for forever. There’s a deleted scene from Raimi’s Spider-Man 2 where J. Jonah Jameson puts on Spidey’s costume and jumps around in his office. They cut it because as initially conceived it was supposed to look totally ridiculous, but since J.K. Simmons is ridiculously fit he looked amazing…
Weird that this is just the trailer audio looped a bunch of times to fill 3+ minutes.
Yeah, reading the headline my first thought was ‘ooh, have they made Hellraid free?’ only to be disappointed that it’s a free expansion to Hellraid, which is itself still a paid expansion.
The downside of this is that GW made them take all the ASTARTES shorts off of Youtube, and also apparently made them change a lot of the audio and people have said it’s not as good.
I don’t think they actually lost any money on the Steam Boxes, which is part of why they failed so spectacularly. Valve never actually put any skin in that game, they just came up with a spec and licensed the name to the OEMs, who were the ones who were actually losing money manufacturing them.
Everything that’s going to run locally on the SteamPal is going to be either the Linux versions or running through Proton (which works pretty well for tons of stuff), and anything it can’t run locally it’s going to run over Steam Remote Play, where it being the Linux or Windows version won’t matter.
1600 years is young, now? MacLeod discovered he was an immortal in the 16th Century.
