This was the Leftovers version of John Locke's drug-induced vision in Lost, where ghost Boone guides Locke around Sydney airport and helps him understand his purpose. It didn't actually happen, it's just a messed up vision caused by whatever drug he was given.

"Adorkable" annoyed me. Kara is the one who does adorkable. The Supergirl persona is all serious crime-fighting face in public. It just seemed like the writers wanted to squeeze that one in, whether it was right or not.

In my version of the story, Grace's father had Grace's mother committed, and then staged her death, to get her out of the way. Gigi knows what he did, and how he thinks, and is playing to that. That's why he didn't bat an eye - he's done it before, and it worked. Maybe he should do it again.
