The thing that kills me is the gt350 has more creature comforts than a m2/3/4. You cant get a/c seats, android auto/carplay on any of those m cars and to me those are massive comfort/convenience features. Hell you can get those on a 20k kia/hyundai and not a 80k bmw

The tdis are higher cause they cost more. My 13 jetta tdi prem with nav stick shift was worth about 15k on trade in in sept now it’s about 10k. Miles have changed like 2k from 39 to 41k in that time period

Because I wanted to get rid of my tdi to buy a fun car and now its not worth shit and no one will even take it on trade in. Loss of almost 5k in less than 6 months is pretty crazy as before the scandal the tdis were one of the best at retaining their value. A reason I bought it and the Subaru sti before it.

Get the motor out of a yamaha vmax and build a custom reverse drive...they make a glorious noise

T56 shifts like a dump truck and I wasn’t too fond of the zf6 speed in the 335i I drove. However I like the dsg in the b8 s4 I just got for the wife however you have to learn to drive it especially in stop n go traffic it can get confused.

I know I’m slightly over the budget here but I just bought a 2011 Audi s4 for the missus for 23.7k with 60k miles. Premium plus with nav and b&o sound system and sport diff so pretty heavily optioned. Went full tavarish with no warranty as I like to live dangerously.

No...so much no that I recoded the car to turn the voice activation button into a stereo mute button so I didnt have to deal with it if I bumped it on the steering wheel.
