I'm sorry but with the budget they had, what they did with the little technology, how the story unfolds, how Neo was so precious to the human race but at the same time meant so little to the machines, how you had so many questions after watching it for the first time... that movie was King.

I totally agree with you there on the Wiimote vs Gamepad topic. I loved Skyward Sword for what it is, but I want a Zelda game based around the Gamepad now. ZWWHD was done quite well in that sense. Takin' aim with your bow using the Gamepad motion controls was like a dream come true.

And they're coming. They had great ones in 2013 and even better ones in 2014. An intrusive gimmick would be something of a trick, making you believe that it would enhance the gaming experience but wouldn't in the end. So far the Wii U Game Pad has proven to do just that.
