Don’t fuck this up, Sony. I needs my One Piece volume boxsets.

I thought it was well done. Sure, you didn’t get the explosion / climax many people were looking for, but their dance at the end was beautiful. I also don’t think it’d be quite in Sayo Yamamoto’s style to end on a cliched note like that.

I feel like Amazon Prime has always been an unreal proposition from the get-go. If I want to pony up the 3.99 extra, I can even get things overnight. Their customer service is also, unreal. I’ve NEVER had a bad experience with it. From a customer-facing standpoint, they’re tops. From an employer standpoint, I’m not so

Not quite the same thing, but there are also the shows and books you deliberately avoid revisiting because you loved them dearly once and don’t want to tarnish those golden memories by discovering that they haven’t aged well or that your tastes have changed over the years.

Hello, Dark Shadows, Doc Savage novels, Edgar

When are they going to put out a show that’s like HBO good? I bet if they produced Hannibal it would be 2x as popular because that kind of thing doesn’t belong on NBC...

The Verge will be jumping around, grabbing their hair, denying everything.

My Note II hasn't bent or cracked. My Galaxy S2 got its paint chipped at the top.

Didn't Gizmodo criticize other phones for using plastic because aluminum has a better "industrial quality"?

That's apple copying samsung even more with curved phones, just with DIY style...

I tend to use Batmanuel as shorthand for Nestor Carbonell, it clues people in to who I'm talking about faster than his actual name.

I liked this movie a lot. It's been getting a weird push on tumblr for supposedly being super diverse (people's standards on that are just low and terrible) but it's a good movie. The twist at the end was frankly gut-wrenching (if you've seen it you should know which one I'm talking about) and I think it puts across a

YAAAYYYYYY!!!!!!

Actually, it wasn't hyperbole. I really am hard pressed to think of a better anime that I have seen. Granted most of my anime watching until this last year covered pretty much everything from 1990-2006 so I'm sure there could be a few recent ones that are better which I missed.
