I don’t think they started doing that until season 4. IIRC, Day 1 was just the one regular hour; Days 2 & 3 had commercial-free first hours; and starting with Day 4, when they switched to airing the show from January to May with no breaks, they did 2 hour Sundays followed by 2 hour Mondays for the premiere.

Richard Walsh was killed in hour 2. (At 1:54 a.m., apparently.)

I got the Buffy S1 DVDs and watched that episode with the director’s commentary (thus learning that fact for the first time) days before the S6 episode where Tara got shot. When Amber Benson showed up on that episode’s credit, I straight up laughed out loud because I knew what was going to happen to her.

Does it matter?

A few years ago at Denver Comic Con I asked Nathan Fillion and Clare Kramer what they would do if, when channel surfing, they came upon one of their own movies or shows. She said, “I might watch it,” and he said he’d watch it, and, depending on the scene, might think “Oh yeah, that’s ____. I should call them, see how

Man, what is this? When I was a kid, I was told video games were the devil’s tool, driving me away from Christ and all that. THAT’S WHY I WAS INTO THEM. Well, part of the reason, anyway.

Yeah, that does seem pretty fucking lame.

PREACH.

Man, these grapes are sour!

Big props to Think Geek for having plus size models (as well as non-plus size--I won’t say “normal” size because fuck that--models) modeling their swimwear in this collection.

He’s got a few standup specials available on Netflix, playing places like Radio City (not a college). My wife and I saw him live in Denver recently at the Buell Theatre (not a college). He’s a funny guy. Check them out, you may like him. Or you may not, to each his own; but at least then you could say you gave him a

I’ve played this game something like 8 times in my life (10 if you count when my parents played while I was in the room). A couple of the first ones were two-player games with my best friend, and the last couple have been two-players with my wife. Every time I’ve taken different microtransactions: sometimes to hire

I honestly thought it was supposed to be a bad attempt at that dumb OK-symbol-below-the-waist thing that I’ve seen, which, after Googling it, I discovered is called The Circle Game. Which, because I’m An Old, I don’t get at all. Make an OK symbol below your waist, get someone to look at it, and punch them?

Here’s a silly question: Why does she say Hello in Spanish on that 2-page spread? I’m sure it’s supposed to be some Ancient Greek war cry; but what?

As long as they’re not using Timeless money to pay for it...

I saw a post on FB from some dudebro bitching about this and saying he and his buddies should dress up like women to go see the movie. My response was:

one would think he’d make an exception for cherished national traditions

This game seems awesome! I’m going to put it on my birthday list. Thanks for the review!

I have the CD-ROM game! Three discs, I want to say four or five mysteries per disc? Love them!

That comic is amazing. Thanks for sharing it.
