What are those black things on top of the cover there? Could they be deployable rollover protection ala the Porsche 911? I mean, this is still a Z06. If not, it's an interesting design choice to just add more contrasting color for no reason.

I'm 6'6" and my daily driver is a Dodge Challenger SRT8. While all of the midgets (aka "Normals") in the world call it oversized, it's damn perfect for guys like me. It's comfortable, fast, has curb appeal and is pretty practical in a completely impractical segment of automobiles. I love it.

That's because Kerbeck is the largest Corvette dealer in the US. That's what that dealership is known for - Corvettes. Of course they're going to have a huge stock.

You worked at Pratt and f-ing Miller?!?!?!?!?!? You are my HERO!
They have their hands all over my favorite GM race cars, C6-R, C7-R, CTS-V Pirelli World Challenge cars, the old GRAND-AM Camaros, EVERYTHING!

David Kimble who does all those is the sh*t.

Makes sense. You get a free track day with an instructor when you buy an SRT vehicle.

Uhhh... I'm headed in that direction. I REALLY want a M3 or the upcoming ATS-V but I'll be getting S4 because Chicagoland winters and stuff. That, and my wife refuses to get in my RWD cars during the winter. :(

I'm the same age and have had four. I had my first midlife crisis when I was 23! Great cars... I figure P-Car guys get the same kind of hate for other reasons. Haters gonna hate!

*Cough*

Tell that to a guy with a tear drop tattoo!

I too am too damn tall for coach. So if someone reclines, they are instantly in my knees and I get the death stare of douche from the guy in front of me. It's not as if I can control the fact that I'm 6'6" and my knees are almost into the back of the guy in front of me if the so much as recline the tiniest bit.

Having driven a Land Rover Evoque with the same shifter setup, it raises as soon as you turn on the car and spin it like a dial. BUT it only raises when you turn it on so it's perfectly flat. It's quite possibly the stupidest piece of tech put into a car. It's over-complicating a system for no good reason.

My dad does the same thing with his Corvettes. They may as well be bubble-wrapped. It made me insane as a child and it makes me insane as an adult as his Z06 would be one HELL of a daily driver!

Yep... All FOUR of them! How many ALMS races do you guys watch besides Petit and Sebring? I'd be all for keeping the P1 class if there were cars in there besides not owned by Muscle Milk and Level 5. Now, I'm also sad to not see Audi, Toyota and Porsche in person in the States next year, but c'mon. That's at Petite

The Mako Shark concept came out in '61. Check out the Mako Shark II - now that car's look is REALLY close to the C3 Corvettes.

Yeah, it says you get 3/36,000 on the first two packages including the 700 hp one. So long as Hennessey doesn't pull a Saleen and go out of business!

Agreed. At the least there should be a caveat on #2. If you come in with a lesser loan amount than what the finance person can get, then you go with a private loan. But if the dealership finance person can get you a point or two off your private loan while he takes a cut, THEN WHO THE HECK CARES because you're still

I've had it on three of my cars ('07 Corvette, '12 Corvette, '09 SRT8 Challenger) and it's not so bad. You miss it completely if you give it about 20% to 25% throttle. You grow so used to it that I don't even notice it anymore - you give it JUUUST enough gas to avoid it. Every once in a while I used to hit it and it

I remember seeing that Jaaaaag at Road America during a ALMS race a few years back. Boy, was it getting its ass handed to it by the Vettes, BMWs and Ferraris, but man I swear to you it was the best-sounding race car on the track that day.
