Youtube IS blocking channels just so you guys know. AKB48, Victor Entertainment, and Sony Music Japan have all been blocked in the US. Why is Kotaku not telling people about this?!

This also pretty much proves Youtube Red is nothing more than a massive scam by Google in order to try and salvage anything they can from Youtube. Do not buy Youtube Red! You will just be supporting Google paywalling videos and blocking videos from people who don’t agree to their draconian new rules.

People do realize that Youtube Red has been blocking many Japanese videos from the US? Victor Entrainment, Sony Japan, PonyCanyon, and many more are being blocked over here thanks to this crap from Google.
