AWD for the win. Both cars utilize the electric motors to compliment the ICE and cover it’s flaws. For the P1, they cover any turbo-lag. In the 918, they provide torque down low where the high-strung v8 doesn’t make all that much. It came down to what car could apply the power it had sooner and with less sideways drama

True about Pagani but AMG makes the SL65, a TT V12 mounted in a GT. Maybe Ferrari can't due it for their V12 (being very high strung in comparison).
