I'm a 20 year veteran of the Mobile DJ business...and I can tell you. The Sonys you are talking about are the standard for me and lots of DJs I know. I have one pair for my mobile rig and one pair for my development computer.

Any articles about password security published on the Gawker/LH network are insulting considering the breach in their own systems that revealed EVERYONE'S PASSWORDS.
I absolutely detest voicemail and would prefer to never have to listen to another one again in my life.
Will the "email me my password" reset my password automatically? If so, how do I know what the original password was? If I can't determine the original password, then how do I know which other accounts (with the same original password) need to be changed? I have 500 login credentials with about 30 unique passwords.
@Riqz: I did read the FAQ..."We had shut down email services on some servers earlier today, but service should now be restored. Please try again and make sure you check your spam filters."
I requested my password via email an hour ago and still haven't received it. I can't change my password if I can't get it email to me. Since I can't figure out my password, I don't know what other accounts shared the same password. Plus, if the password got reset when I requested it...I have no way of knowing if that…

I am a DJ and have 40,984 legally acquired songs. It took 24 hours to index my library. Other software library tools take less than 20 minutes. The web interface and android are really designed for smaller libraries of music (a few thousand songs). The problem is that the webapp/droidapp want to load the entire list…
@flinx1: I am a web developer and I recently upgraded from a Raid 1 raptor 36GB/4GB/P4 3.0 Ghz to a SSD/I7 2.x Ghz/6GB machine. I also went directly from XP to Windows 7. The difference it made was incredible. The jump in performance has allowed me to spend significantly more time surfing Facebook and Lifehacker and…
It's appears their site has been overwhelmed with LH traffic.
I manage a web application for a niche industry. We feature document printing in HTML format. While sometimes quirky, if you're good at hard-coding HTML and CSS you can come up with some pretty hardy document formats. The lack of print settings in Chrome is the ONLY reason our company recommends not using Chrome. This…
My number one windows annoyance: pasted text not being stripped of formatting. I do lots of copy and pasting into Outlook over Remote Desktop. Thank you LifeHacker. You just improved my quality of life. #clipboard
@jeremy_mccurdy: Well, for starters, it's proprietary. #gtd
Went to download the software...and it asked me to install Adobe Air. No thanks. #gtd
I've had it with Firefox. The last two releases are worthless pieces of garbage. This comes from a Firefox fanboy!
@digideth:
Take any posts my men on this subject with several grains of salt. It's all about the bride! I work in the wedding industry and can tell you that guys that don't abide by this by their wedding day will soon be divorced :)
Wait, my friends have to have it installed for it to work?
So what you are saying is that you can create a custom voicemail message for a caller whose number is not showing up in caller id?
This is useful as a developer of a web app. The separate processes would allow me to log on as different users in different tabs.
