I bet finding a running F-Head motor would have cost less time and money than building these “Predator” engine-swapped military Jeeps, so I have to give the owner credit for the creativity and hard work that went into building these unique, fascinating off-roaders.

If you can’t handle an AWD Lamborghini on a straight but lumpy road, I don’t think you should be anywhere near an Ultima at any time or place

^^ So much this ^^

And now we’re going to be seeing several articles here a day on it for next month.

Unpopular opinion, I like it. I like the looks, aggressive but muted. If they make a V8 (ISF motor or succesor) 6 speed in the next couple years I’ll buy one. I'm not highly interested in the BMW 3.0 with flappy paddles... Toyota needs to put their own motor and transmission in it to finish the project.

I’m a lifelong BMW owner, underrated yes, but compared to Corvettes, Camaros and Mustangs? It’s not on that level.

Way too much hype for an uglier Z4 with a Toyota badge. I don't think anyone would give half as many shits about this if it was called anything other than Supra.

My biggest issues with Toyota is that they seem to have no idea how to restart the performance credibility they used to have. Both the new 86 and Supra were really built by others, they just badge stuff now. The closest thing to a performance car THEY have made is the Mark X which the US likely wont get, and I’m not

Fuck this idiot. I lived in Clearwater for almost a decade. I’ve been down Bayshore countless times. While I will admit I’ve gone above the posted limit a few times, it was never more than 5 above. And even then, it was during off peak times. 102 down Bayshore? Fuck this idiot.

No matter what the design flaw may have been, the process is the core problem here. Whether it’s a direct cause or merely an indirect one that prevented detecting the true cause before it was too late, rushing construction to effectively erect this thing in a day should never have been an acceptable approach.

I’m sure the people who died from this collapse and their families would be glad that it was engineered with such vigor instead of you know, rigor and discipline and a thoroughness that doesn’t fucking get people killed.

I don’t want kids. I want a car that’s reliable and fun. Those exist, and they’re not Kia Spectras.
