Game of the year 31 years and running, bay-bee!

This was probably my favorite Double XP strip in a while.

Once again, Cecilia, you manage to put my thoughts and frustrations with this game into words. Superbly put.

Agreed! Such a rich universe deserves a variety of talent working on a variety of games.

Not like LucasArts’ final decade was much better! Star Wars is just cursed. Disney should do what it does with Marvel and hand it out to as many developers as possible.

I wonder why they canceled it. A Star Wars open world game seems perfect for microtransactions and DLC. Maybe it was the huge critical failure that were Red dead redemption 2 and God of War that made Ea cancel it as it’s clear there is no future for single player games.

Log in to Overwatch to get free loot crate or two, get nothing but garbage in them, log out of Overwatch, repeat next event.

I have a feeling they’re going to show very little footage in all the trailers. This seems like they (rightfully) want to keep a lot of surprises.

The previous two games were dungeon crawlers, not beat-’em-ups, but were generally well received. 

Valve has sanctioned this project more than once. They allow them to sell the mod via Steam and even licensed the engine to them so they could use it in an official capacity.

Don’t forget that there was a second, even better Poker Night game. It had Max (Sam’n’Max), Ash (Evil Dead), Cl4P-TP (Borderlands) and Brock Samson (Venture Brothers) and - most importantly - Glados as the host!
It is one of the very few games in my library where I actively went achievement hunting ^^

Damn, bummer... Had they included Castlevania SOTN and/or Brave Fencer Musashi as some had speculated, it would be worth the price (since the used copies of those games are pricey). I get that the remakes of Spyro and Crash are a thing, but I find it very hard to believe that a PS1 Classic console wouldn’t include…

Before I played one of these battle royale games, I always told people I wasn’t interested because I knew it would be 20 minutes of me wandering around a field not finding anybody only to get shot in the face by a shotgun and die instantly and that didn’t sound like fun to me.

My biggest hope for Blackout is that they shamelessly copy all the great ideas in Fortnite into a game that I actually enjoy playing.
