The issue isn’t JUST that the face was changed (which you’ll never convince me wasn’t done to be more in line with the movies). It’s that he looks like teen/early 20s Peter Parker now instead of the adult Peter that is shown in the story. There's a weird dissonance because of it.

As others have mentioned they won't get residuals, which sucks, but also the fact that the show isn't getting produced means that it won't do anything for their careers. The people who've already put their labour into this show have nothing to put on their resumes.
