This is really concise and I loved the movie but your nitpicks make so much sense. A few more:

RocketJump’s podcast “Story Break” did a fantastic deep dive on this while simultaneously pitching a film adaptation of this that, somehow, made sense? I highly recommend checking it out.

Here’s the issue though: The list of decisions Pokemon asks you to make are:

In the end, the only one who has to sacrifice himself is Tony Stark.”

“I want another Half Life game!” The fans cried.

I don’t know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I think the Porgs are actually hideous. They seem like they’d be genetically engineered to be adorable: they’ve got the fluffiness of a puppy, the big eyes of a baby bird, the jowls of a pug and the mouth and tiny teeth of a kitten. And yet to me it’s like when

I was working at a Papa Johns at the time of his initial downfall and let me tell you I never knew working at a pizza place could feel so gross.

These are absolutely gorgeous but wow that Venom is something else entirely. I’m in love.

What? GameFreak is shuttering a feature that fans cared about for seemingly little reason and retroactively negatively impacting their other games? What a surprise! Who could’ve predicted that?

Dude fucked up so bad Ball State took his name off all their promotional stuff. His own college wants nothing to do with him and I’m all here for his spiral into madness.

I’m really, really, REALLY sick and tired of game journalists lumping everyone who isn’t happy about Sword and Shield into one community who’s only complaining that their one favorite Pokemon didn’t make it into the game. That’s NOT the only thing fans are upset about, it’s just the straw that broke the camel’s back.

When this was announced I thought, “Well, that looks dumb. But I’ll play it a couple times to get the quest rewards.” And I can’t understand why, but it’s strangely really fun. Like there’s a randomness and a strategy to it that makes it super interesting. It’s not as fun as regular Hearthstone, but it’s certainly a

I’ve always believed that Smash is unique for a fighting game in that, if you put in the time and effort, pretty much any character can be great. Many of the characters I love are considered “low tier” but you’d be hard-pressed to maintain that argument against me. I think it’s such an accessible game for relative

Having Lego Racers 2 flashbacks.

The article does leave out the ending of the issue, which leaves a glimmer of hope that this all can be avoided. I won’t spoil it, but it reintroduces a character I’ve been waiting to return to in this series and gives them an opportunity to make a pivot into a new kind of character arc.

Thank you!

As is always the case with stories like this, I’m going to say that as long as we get the best product possible, delay as many times as you need to. Nothing frustrates me more than when a potentially amazing game is rushed out the door too fast and lacks that level of polish that takes a 8/10 game to 10/10 status.

I feel very conflicted about this. The series finale was weird and didn’t really wrap things up per se, but it was the ending they wanted and I was happy with that. This seems like it could retroactively cheapen that ending. On the other hand, maybe we could get a true ending to the series that actually wraps
