I actually did some quick searching on this, but tunnels that have broadcast radio reception usually employ leaky coax systems connected to antennas somewhere outside the tunnel that “leak” the broadcasts into the tunnel , AM broadcast will fare better underground because the longer wavelengths can pass thru solid…
