It was only a matter of time. You can’t see Gunn do the first movie without expecting him to pop back up in the third.

What a weird, dumb, and completely unnecessary saga.

I hope Malcolm X haunts Will Smith for this.

Wow for somebody who's supposedly seen combat you sure cry a lot at a bunch of trivial bullshit. What was your unit, the fucking Salvation Army?

Perfect time for me to debut my even worsely named series, SMILK.

I’m a left winger my entire life

Unfortunately for the trolls, Captain Marvel is dedicated to a fallen airman, so hating the movie means they hate the troops. I don’t make the rules, I just enforce them.

‘90s Fury should’ve had a Jules Winfield jheri curl.

You have all won “least essential comment thread”

Or, and this will probably blow your mind, your opinion of his work one way or the other had literally nothing to do with him dying. It must be difficult getting through a day being this fucking stupid.

How many of you want to see the X-Men handle down-to-earth issues just like the ones you face every day, and how many of you want to see them get into far-out adventures involving robots and magic powers.?

One of my favorite dumb things in these movies is that they felt compelled to give Xavier's baldness an origin story, even though male pattern baldness is a thing. We really need no other explanation.

Lawrence’s role as Mystique has always been weird. They actually lucked out because they cast her seemingly minutes before she became a megastar, but because she was became a Supernova, they had to keep using her, even though her character was A) A Bad guy and B) Never interesting enough a bad guy to be the focus of

I think that’s where the heft of Aster’s horror comes from. It’s taken to crazy heights, but the meat of it is in realistic trauma. I can definitely understand it being triggering for people.

I mean the movie had pretty good reviews overall and got a shit ton of recognition from various film critics circles and associations at the end of the year. Maybe they’re all “aging” as well, but the AV Club wasn’t the only place that liked it.

I loved Penny Dreadful, but to me it was the Eva Green show (even though a lot of the cast was great, Green was so hypnotic to watch that they all sort of paled in comparison.) So knowing this would not have her in it, I wasn’t really sure I’d even bother watching it, but Natalie Dormer is a great choice so now I’m

I DIDN’T CRY....ITS JUST RAINING INSIDE MY HOUSE RIGHT ABOVE MY HEAD!!!

If you own a pet, you’re going to cry.

It’s shit like this that makes me think I’m becoming A Crier.
