Each of the walking dead shows suffer the problem of being completely unnable to extend sympathy to characters outside of the main cast, which is why everyone else always comes off like a psychopath. Even when they try, by making one of the pirates a pregnant woman for example, all the tough guy posturing and silly

The dialogue is delicious. I constantly rewind scenes just to listen again.

That would be boring.

I doubt that piss-throwing window bigot was aiming for accuracy.

I had never heard the term "Alienist" before, I don't get why it fell out of fashion.

"Give me your neck."

Mine were too, but i found it a lot better the second time through. I think my initial opinion of it is still valid (and man, that first 10 minutes or so when the movie is introducing its ideas is still really hard to get through. "Nobody cares about dinosaurs anymore" my ass), but it actually has some pretty

I guess. Is he a muppet?

Yeah, I said it. It was pretty good! Come at me bro!

"I went this weekend to watch a show. It was an off-Broadway production of Pygmalion."
*Woody Allen's audience brays with laughter*

Violent Jay's beach boy barbecue blowout bash blast!

I have no opinion on Ringo Starr, but thanks to Scharpling, I'm aware of Ringo's terrible, terrible paintings. For that, I'm eternally grateful.

I think sometimes he only rips on the muppets because he knows how sensitive their fans are, and because he knows it'll bother a certain purple muppet that often calls his show.

They showed Jurassic World on HBO's free weekend, so I chosed to rewatch it. I think I may have judged it too harshly the first time I saw it, cause I gotta say, it was pretty good.

Clabber Girl baking powder. Its clabberin time.

I haven't read the books, but I'm surprised that Gabaldon doesn't go further into that, even though I appreciate what she chooses to focus on. Not only how Claire's actions in the past could affect Frank, but even how they could effect her own birth. It's totally possible that she could run into one of her own

That's true, but still, seems like most of her flashbacks reveal Frank letting her in on some history.

It's even more than that. So much of her knowledge of the past comes from knowing Frank, and it's doubtful she would have time-traveled in the first place if she hadn't gone to those rocks with Frank.

I don't think either version is superior to the other necessarily. I don't like the way some of Roy's dialogue was cleaned up in the final cut, but I do like the addition of Pris yanking Deckard up by his nose.

Nice to see Jesse Eisenberg looking more in his element. I don't think Kristen Stewart or him are very comfortable in big budget spectacles.
