Yeah, what happened recently? I now have to log into Kinja everytime I close the page and return. It doesn’t remember me.

It’s important not to think about billionaires as people with a bank account and a budget. For you or me, “losing money” means losing the power to purchase specific goods and services, but for someone like him, “losing money” means a transient shift in capital gains and losses. His wealth doesn’t express buying power

And all that *after* he made sure that the contract did not include due diligence. Presumably he didn’t want them digging into his affairs and finances without realizing it cuts both ways.

I meant affairs in the general sense not the sexual - but perhaps that too.

At least it allows us all to get more images of his weird face this week.

The three judges ruled that the segment was “clearly comedy,” writing in their decision, “Baron Cohen may have implied (despite his in character disclaimers of any belief that Judge Moore was a pedophile) that he believed Judge Moore’s accusers, but he did not imply the existence of any independent factual basis

“For far too long the American people have been subjected to the antics of Sasha [sic] Baron Cohen. His pusillanimous and fraudulent conduct must be stopped. We will appeal” - Cohen really needs to use this on all ads and future DVD/Blu-ray boxes.

Huh those people who are crying about preserving Dave Chappelle’s right to freedom of speech don’t seem to be over here celebrating this actual win for a comedian’s right to freedom of speech.

“Ok, groomer”  -- is that a thing yet.

Did you hear the one about the porn star accused of murder? He wanted to be judged by his peers and the case ended up with a hung jury.

In a text message to the AP, Moore and his wife indicated that they would appeal again.

I’m just looking forward to getting a sweet little slice of that $95 million since the case is for the people.

I like that message they sent, and not just for its use of “pusillanimous”. They seem to want to banish him from the earth, rather than just receive financial damages or whatever, and while they are awful monsters who should be thrown into a volcano, I admire the commitment to being crazy and terrible

Its also kinda weird how the guys calling others(usually someone in the LGTBQ+ community) groomers seems to be the ones that are groomers themselves.

LOL and GFY Roy Moore, you pedo asshole.

Or have Cohen’s team sue the maker of the pedo detector which is just Cohen in a disguise!

You almost want to see the court go ahead with it, just so that Cohen’s lawyers get to bring up in discovery how Moore was banned from his local mall for perving on teenage girls.

I’m no lawyer, but it would have been funnier of Cohen’s defense had been that the pedo detector actually worked and put Roy Moore into the position where he had to prove he’s not a pedo.

Is it me or do people get kinda snitty when they are called out on their creepy, pervy sex crimes?

Good! But I’m a little worried that the phrase “no reasonable person could believe” doesn’t mean as much as it used to.
