Isn’t this like, textbook emotional abuse? The instant your partner seems to have a credible complaint about your behavior that someone might sympathise with, pivot immediately to suddenly crashing self-esteem and threats to kill yourself?

There ought to be a presumption of innocence in a court of law. In the court of public opinion, anything goes.

A bunch of people are saying “Let’s remember he deserves presumption of innocence.” To which I keep replaying “Did you give it to Harvey Weinstein? Because if not, who are you to lecture anyone else about it?”

That’s something that far, far too many people don’t understand. Many, if not most Israelis feel the same way about Netanyahu, and his hard line approach to Palestinians as we felt about Trump, but their stupid coalition goverment makes it easier for him to stay in power.

It’s not being used as a cudgel, just pointing out the hypocracy of those specifically supporting Hamas.

Netanyahu, his cronies ruling Israel, and their allies across the world are the main ones who aren’t including Palestinians. Jews in general and even regular Israelis largely are.

Feel free to turn on the news, as I’ve watched a lot of footage of progressive rallies where people shouted that Israel needed to be dumped in the trash and talked about Jewish influence in American politics.
