Not inviting an autistic guy to Autism Awareness?

That’s ‘cool’ factor is why Benedict Cumberbatch’s Sherlock Holmes is referred to as a “High-functioning sociopath” in an effort to diffuse the false narrative surrounding what Autism is.

The idea that spinner popularity could be an indication that autism is more wide-spread is not an insult to Autism and (ironically) the idea (true or false) would bring more awareness to Autism studies. It’s a big stretch to see OP comment as somehow negative...

Oh, no, I didn’t get that vibe at all- just saying that many coping mechanisms are silly and weird and can really be magnified by viral culture. I am a 30 year old man who wears ‘chewelry’ for example and hope that that doesn’t become popular enough to get the internet’s wrath.

Not just “Women Play Video Games” but “All Sorts of Women Play Video Games”. My wife is a very much non-nerd corporate exec. She was an athlete, didn’t grow up with VGs. I introduced her to Diablo III and it is one of her favorite things to do on Earth. It went from “this is kinda stupid...” to “This fucking build

Most importantly, as a fella on the spectrum who is terrified of being ostracized, I can’t use what was a helpful tool because it has been slathered and coated in doucheness. Thanks, internet.

Welp, those jerseys are toast on his next start.

I’m calling fake news. This “Alan Trammell” is clearly made up. Supposedly his numbers were as good as Barry Larkin’s AND he was part of one of the top three defensive middle infield duos of all-time, but I checked the Baseball HOF website an they don’t have an “Alan Trammell”. Nice try.

Wasn’t suggesting you were pooh poohing, just hoping to clear some consciences.

Never too soon. Humor helps people comprehend the truly awful. It can be tasteless and crude, no doubt, but it is probably the healthiest way to absorb the unimaginable.

As an American, I have never been the centre of attention.

Hits- no good.

Could have used help from his own personal Jesus Colome.

It was interference, but he wouldn’t have been able to grab his pad if Talbot (and the rest of modern goalies) didn’t have that God-forsaken thigh rise on the pad that extends a mile up the thigh.

If you look deep inside yourself, you will find the humor. It was inside all along! “Sad” and “Humorous” are not mutually exclusive!

Im confused— how does Papa John fit into all of this?

Hi! This is Dave from Stampsmachine! Why waste all of that precious drawer space on forever stamps when for just 45 dollars a month and roughly 2 square feet of counter or desk space you could have the experience of working for the post office?

Clearly someone needs to do a hockey version of Key and Peele’s “East-West Bowl”

You are correct, it is tragic. People are not inherently evil enough to do what he did— he obviously had severe mental health issues early on. Everyone is capable of doing horrendous things if everything lines up exactly wrong. I learned that from Dr. P. Zimbardo’s “The Lucifer Effect”.
