I love how goalies react to giving up an OT playoff goal. The moment it crosses the line they are headed to the bench. Its like it is so disappointing that they can’t even.

Pro golfers are even better at golf property damage than me...

If he had stuck a volley, great, but whatever. How the fuck did it turn into a swinging wild western forehand? That shit is crazy.

I always thought he was a lunatic, but he is actually just... eccentric, which is good. Cynicism and negativity have made myself and others I know write off eccentric people as lunatics or assholes, but that is wrong. Eccentricity needs to be celebrated!

Its just playing the numbers. It could absolutely happen on their home opener, but historically the further you get into April, the better your chances are at decent weather.

My son was recently diagnosed, and through the diagnosis process my wife became incredibly interested in adult diagnosis— the traits they found in my son were the same that I had. So through her urging, I went through hours of testing and also got an ASD diagnosis. I am just happy that I can help people understand him

It can’t rain in a dome or on the moon, so not anywhere. Again, just think they should improve the odds of decent baseball conditions.

It is just about playing the percentages. Its more likely that the further north you go the odds are that the weather will be at best shittastic for baseball and at worst completely unplayable. Watching Corey Kluber throw pitches with a parka on isn’t sexy at all.

The Rays? They aren’t giving up their packed August stadium for those premium summer weekends?

I do not understand this— something like 17 teams play in either a dome or south of Indianapolis. Start each season at these venues. There are plenty in both leagues to cover it, requiring just the one inter-league series. I don’t give a salty shit if my northern team doesn’t play at home on opening day if it meant

Not looking at “best offensive RH hitter”. Simply the best at hitting a baseball. I would agree with that. If there were no running, no legging out doubles or infield singles— Just squaring up the goddamn ball, I would pick Miggy. 91% of the time Miguel put bat on ball it was of medium-hard contact, Trout was at 88%.

I want to see a breakdown of the kinesiology differences between western swings and eastern swings. They are clearly different, but I don’t know why. I say this without doing so much as a Google query though, so I don’t care that much.

Fucking weird but true story: I was in East Lansing driving Bobcat Goldthwait around to do radio promos for the comedy club I worked at. He said “Man, this place is depressing, reminds me of Syracuse, where I grew up.”

That escalated quickly- Hicks killed a guy!

Promptly shreds his ACL— on purpose, with a boxcutter because Browns.

He does that and gets paid handsomely. I do that and suddenly I have to “see HR” and “stop editing the minutes from the senior staff meeting”. Fucking bullshit.

Traditionally fighting has been the thing used to prevent CTE. The idea being that you are less likely to skate 20 mph elbow first into a dude’s cranium if you knew you would have to answer for it. Not saying that it works really well, just saying that it was always supposed to be the check-and-balance to keep

I was taught by THE Christian LaFlamme. If name dropping a defenceman from a “Let’s remember some guys” post is a good thing, that is. Wait... no... no its not... never mind.

If you end up at the top of the crease then you were wrong. You start closer to the potential receiver and close on the shooter as they close in on the goal. Six feet before the top of the crease you should be in the puck carriers grill.

Thank you though, Sherpa community is strong
