Car broker here; whilst any print/digitla ad that gives lease prices is about as accurate as throwing numbers into the air, this more competitive approach from Cadillac is welcome news.
70-80% of my clients go German when looking for luxury brands. 10-15% got Lexus/Infiniti. The rest go Cadillac. Personally I love

you’d think she’d be able to keep an eye on her kid

Did you miss the scene where Pris is described as “your basic pleasure model” - and her inception date was... Valentine’s Day?

Not for long they don’t. A good percentage of my clients have been ripped off like this by dealerships and won’t ever go back. There’s a difference between making a good profit and straight up ripping someone off.

And dealerships like this are why auto brokers like myself do so well...

As a broker, I can tell you the first thing we do (aside from run our own numbers) is get MSRP, invoice price etc and fees - before we ever quote the customer.

I’ve never dealt with them (we only sell new cars) - but I see plenty of people using them so I’m sure they’re doing something right.

Tesla sells direct-to-consumer, and they make it work just fine. I’m sure you’ve read the stories about dealerships fighting Tesla to stop them doing so...

It’s the business model that the industry have had in place for decades and we’re able to exploit (legal) loopholes in it.

In a way, yes. Just without the BS.

No, we’re a consultancy and broker service - because we do so much volume we get deep discounts that the dealerships won’t give to their customers.

We do 150-160 cars a month on average, and it’s growing.

Not a problem - contact me when you’re ready and we can discuss options for you

Our fee varies depending on the car (obviously we make more on an S-Class than we do a Camry) and we build it into the deal. We run our own numbers. All the finances go through the respective manufacturers.

We build our business on repeat customers and referrals - so that’s why we always give the lowest price straight away. Our goal is to save customers as much as we can - which often means stepping them up into a better trim level for less money than the dealership quoted on a lesser trim.

Agreed - and I’d go so far as to say Florida as a whole. It’s why we’re so successful with the brokering, 9/10 customers are referrals. There’s a huge market for higher-end vehicles down here and we’ve had customers come to us after being quoted by a dealership with tales of $8,000-$10,000 down... on a lease. Insanity.

I’m an auto broker and consultant here in Miami and the levels of trickery and BS that dealerships will hit customers with is downright disgraceful.
