Our fee varies depending on the car (obviously we make more on an S-Class than we do a Camry) and we build it into the deal. We run our own numbers. All the finances go through the respective manufacturers.

We build our business on repeat customers and referrals - so that’s why we always give the lowest price straight away. Our goal is to save customers as much as we can - which often means stepping them up into a better trim level for less money than the dealership quoted on a lesser trim.

Agreed - and I’d go so far as to say Florida as a whole. It’s why we’re so successful with the brokering, 9/10 customers are referrals. There’s a huge market for higher-end vehicles down here and we’ve had customers come to us after being quoted by a dealership with tales of $8,000-$10,000 down... on a lease. Insanity.

I’m an auto broker and consultant here in Miami and the levels of trickery and BS that dealerships will hit customers with is downright disgraceful.
