The Woodsmen were my favorite part of that episode. I’m really looking forward to see how all these threads tie together in the end.

No, the movie was not LITERALLY inspired by that music video. The concept had been in his head for years prior, he made a music video that was a shortened version of that concept, and eventually was able to make it into a feature length film. He said that he almost regretted making the video using that concept because…
Just bad, thoughtless writing that is becoming more frequent on this site.
Looks like hes more interested in creating a Cereberat.
think Canopy is distinct from the truck full of junk that turns into that Autobot that talks to Hound (or whoever Goodman’s robot is) in that trailer. Canopy is a yellow robot underneath the garbage, the guy in the trailer has a beard and a bunch of shit on its back
I think of what you said holds true for American audiences but the international market is more drawn to superstar names? So I think he brings that name recognition to a wider arena.
It sounded like Steven Buschemi. Not remotely like Eric Idle. I swear the authors on this site are clueless sometimes.
Uh, Lo Pan hasn’t aged a bit because that cover variant is depicting events of the original movie. Lo Pan is dead.
Pedantic, but look how fucking wide that batsignal is. Thats one hell of a light.
In some TF continuity Megatron had risen up from gladitorial combat on Cybertron to become the leader of Decepticons. They could easily make a prequel movie that was heavily influenced by Roman gladiators instead of.. Transformers in actual Earth’s Rome. But nah, because they need human actors.
Why not just release the Mega Man Anniversary Collection with MM9 and MM10 added? Did these Legacy collections add anything else of value that wasn’t in the AC?
You neglected to mention Drill Dozer, which was a really fun Gameboy Advance game developed by Game Freak.
Hahahahahh god damn this scrolling blog design is so bad. Way to let me unintentionally scroll from the comments into the next article which is full of Twin Peaks spoilers.
Sorry but this looks more promising than the Seth Macfarland thing.
I dunno I kinda enjoyed the Miss Twin peaks thing. James subplot was dead weight. Tremane had a purpose, but they spent a little too much time with him. Though it was kinda worth it for that moment where Andy images the little kid as the devil. But I kinda liked some of the silly stuff going on in the periphery, like…
Yeah it definitely sags for a bit after the Laura murder truth is finally revealed. They waste times focusing on the further exploits of characters like James, who sucks, and going overboard with the Packard Mill / Ghostwood drama. I did quite enjoy Ben Horne’s antics though during that period.
I’m sorry but Donna and Josie are two characters I won’t miss. Harry, though, is another story.
Hmm thats a pretty good way to look at it. I guess the revelation of the siblings and what Ego’s been trying to do reframes that earlier comment a bit.
Maybe they didn’t need to explicitly mention the notion early, but I thought it was funny BECAUSE it was so on the nose. The notion of two grown men playing catch with this ethereal ball of energy they conjured up.. just kinda perfectly silly.
(Side Note: Peter’s dad said “I’ve searched for you for so long”, but he’s…
Oh and one thing I thought was kindof amusing that no one touched on was how video game-y / arcade-y the Sovereigns battle fleet / drones was. I thought it was cheeky how old school the sound effects were for the machines they controlled the fleet with were. I was surprised there were no like “Game Over” splash…
