I like the Skylanders games, but this show is no bueno. It looks good enough but the writing is bad. Questionable choices for voice actors, but Kaos sounds like himself so I guess thats a positive. And I like that Norm Macdonald is working hah.

I got tickets to take my son (and drag my girlfriend along with us). I hope its good! Looking forward to a longform story since all the episodes of the show I’ve seen have been those little short stories, which are entertaining but I’d like to see something more substantial.

I am also subscribed to a sideways universe type notion. I was thinking its more of a dark future of our current world, but that makes it harder to explain the interaction between the two worlds.

That title track is amazing. Sounds like a long lost Chrono Trigger / Cross tune. Though maybe not a title track, more like one of the world themes.

I talked about this to some friends and its really the best solution / outcome possible.

So we have these gyms we fight over, and three teams that align with the three legendary birds. I feel like the turf war should in some way correspond with the ability to capture the legendary.. though I guess that would make it impossible to catch the legendaries from the opposing teams.
