Sure I guess it’s just a matter of how hot is hot enough / what temperature you’d normally heat a dish to. I’m assuming dishes are normally heated in the microwave or something? I may have misread it as intentional. I know that some of these stories are more happenstance (karmic sort of comeuppances, which may have been the case here), and some are more deliberate / enacted cases of revenge. But it seemed to me as if they had taught this lady a harsh lesson (on purpose). :P

To be honest I had glossed over the sentence where she said she would sent it back if it wasn’t hot, so if it was purely that the bowl was heated for the customer’s request and they were burned as a result of their own actions (yes, obviously warned), then fine.
