Haha yeah I did my best to be patient with it, play it only when I was sure I could win within a few turns. Also tried to keep at least a few good (higher cost) cards in my hand, in case they took him out.

Fel Reaver is pretty fun in Arena. Managed to play with it a few times and not get burned.. lost a bunch of cards but they couldn't mitigate the damage I was doing in the meantime.

Yeah a lot of what made it stand out to me was how it was a period film, and we're not going to get that again on the big screen it seems, so from that angle, I can understand the disappointment. But rushed plot points or not, its still one of the best MCU films in my mind.
