Completely agree. After seeing the initial gameplay I wrote the game off and didn’t think much of it, totally expecting it to flop, even though I loved Respawn. The initial gameplay looked so mediocre, with uncharted-esque platforming mixed with really basic combat.

Destiny has been in a fantastic place over the past year. Forsaken set off a wonderful year filled with fantastic content. Black Armory had a rough start, but eventually got going. Mordhau is relatively Dad friendly. Buy a Zweihander or a Greatsword. Both are incredible in frontlines and duel servers. The armor is pretty easy to unlock as there are a bunch of cheap options. That being said, the endgame is fashion which is a helluva grind. 

That’s moreso just the US. In Europe there are distinct cultural identities even within small portions. Ex. Czechs, Moravians, and Slovakians. All distinct people with distinct cultures and histories.

I mean really the issue is the double dipping. It’s totally fine for OW to have Lootboxes because the game is cheap and goes on sale often. It also gets new items for events, constant updates, new characters, new maps, etc. People feel good supporting devs that will keep the game running and fresh for years.
