While I agree with Joshua's grips that this latest cliffhanger will amount to nothing, this episode was easily the closest thing to season 1 Empire. Finally it looked like a hip hop soap opera. It was very well acted and had a more than adequate plot. Taraji P. Henson was in top form and this should be her Emmy tape…

I thought that the closer was the one of the best parts of the album. Literally the climax left me frozen for like a minute.

It better WIN the whole damn thing. This season has been THAT good.

Funniest line of the night: Junior's "I hate myself" made me literally spit out my drink in laughter.

The lowest point was watching that monstrosity of a scene with Lucious and that reporter chick.
