Definitely unhinged. She said somethings in one episode about how she has to keep it together all of the time for work, shouldn't she be able to fall apart when her daughter is being hurt? She doesn't handle any of it well, but I still understand it.

That one and River, I love both so much. September song is nice too. All of the music is excellent.

The wardrobe choices are excellent and definitely part of the storytelling. The whole show is so beautifully and thoroughly crafted.

It may have been more expected from her? I'm not sure. I've always thought she was extremely talented, but she's knocking it out of the park here, and it certainly deserves mentioning.
The whole cast is really great, they're all just nailing it.

Definitely agree that Madeline's family was not as rich in the book, I remember they were OK financially but not loaded like Celeste and Perry, and I also don't remember them being in conflict as much. I kind of like the change though, it highlights the differences between her life before with Nathan and

I agree, they're all very good. Especially the young actress playing Chloe.

I agree - for 7 episodes, it's worth sticking it out. I read the book as well, but I'm still enjoying how they're getting there.
