Now they can be unlocked for other carriers and if I’m not wrong i think this started around the iphone 4s or the iphone 5 where they can be unlocked from the Verizon to work on…

Well in this case, an air plane is not a motor home nor a boat, these things are not design to be parked in a driveway of a residential community. If you can’t afford a proper storage area for an airplane then its time to sell it to someone who can. It’s called common sense.
