Is sustainability and pollution from fish harvesting and farming an issue? Sure. But acting like fish farming is an abomination or something recent is completely inaccurate.

Except seafood is and has been severely overfished for decades to the point that fish farms are literally things that exist these days.

My native country (Japan) eats tons of seafood and features the world’s longest lifespan. Lots of steamed or boiled seafood, veggies and rice. Delicious and healthy.
