I agree. Early Boston Market was amazing. Succulent chicken and real comfort food sides. But with expansion came loss of quality. Last time I ate there was dismal. Chicken was so dry it came off like they cooked it start to finish in a microwave.

Thing is, the smarter one is, the less they’d entertain being a cop. While it can pay very well in senior positions, the liabilities and potential for danger seem like an insurmountable obstacle for most with more than 2 brain cells to rub together.
I feel like I’m doing something wrong in life if this nutbag can afford a Tesla and me, a perfectly sane model citizen, can not.
I comment the effort, but my god...that games looks 15-20 years older on the Switch.
True, but the weird part is that despite the very public outrage, the stock price only dipped modestly. Nothing like 2021's collapse after releasing dismal guidance and dropping like 85% value. That means that outside of the devs, no one believes this will cause any long term issues in Unity’s use or financial…
How would you get out of that thing in a roll-over?
I wanted to ask, “Who are these people who are out of work by 5pm to have diner then?”, but apparently it’s everyone commenting here. I guess I’m the only sucker still at work at that time. I’m lucky to eat dinner by 8pm. Sometimes just skip it altogether.
I had a feeling that might be the case, but I also have a feeling people will be less inclined to ask for a refill than just get one themselves. Multiple factors come into play. Potential wait times, human interaction (which many people shy away from these days), shame of asking for a refill for those self-conscious,…
High fructose corn syrup as doubled in price since 2000. Soft drinks and fries are the highest profit margin for McDicks, to the point that people could refill and they were still making money. But that profit percent dipped significantly with corn syrup pricing. While McDicks can sway markets with their massive…
Is this not just Gatorade without the sugar? Genius idea, actually (for them). Sell the same product cheaper after removing one of the key expense ingredients, but sell it at the same price as before. Forget about shrinkflation. That was so 2010's. We’re about eliminflation in 2023.
Just bought Armored Core over the weekend. It’s fun, but I’m not exactly blown away. The gameplay can get a little repetitive at times and the backdrop isn’t dropping my jaw like other Fromsoft titles. I also feel like the sense of scale isn’t used as well as it could be. You’re in a 32' tall mech, but you rarely feel…
Wrecking Ball is like 500 years old in hamster years.
Wouldn’t exactly call it a “fortune”. Games has just over 12k reviews. At its peak in July, it had just over 11k active players. So I’d assume they sold somewhere between those two figures. 11.5k x $8.30 = $95,450. But Steam takes 30% on all sales up to $10M, so this figure gets whittled down to $66,815.
They’ve had little incentive to upgrade it. The masses seemed to get over the relatively low resolution pretty quickly because Nintendo’s own IP played well and looked fine on it, and I’m assuming their IP was the primary reason why anyone bought one of these. Third party game ports were just the icing on the cake,…
This just got me confused. Isn’t this how all meals work?
If you are referring to this as a between meals snack, then I hate to break it to you that it carries 32% DV worth of sodium and 41% DV fat. Basically a full meal’s worth, if not more of both, despite it being a relatively small amount of food. So you kind of are getting inundated with sodium, but that’s par for the…
Sekiro is way different in combat and movement. Everything is centered around deflections instead of i-frames, and there’s a visible posture (poise) bar. You also can’t swap main weapons, nor upgrade the weapon (buffs aside).
Sure, there’s a whole lot of engineering behind them, but a whole lot of engineering also probably went into getting the Fiat Multipla on the road, and look how that turned out.
I respect the hell out of the decision to say “this is done” instead of going back to milk this cow until it is dead or this era’s Zelda game jumps the shark. Better leaving people with fond memories instead of a bad taste in the mouth.
