Just bought Armored Core over the weekend. It’s fun, but I’m not exactly blown away. The gameplay can get a little repetitive at times and the backdrop isn’t dropping my jaw like other Fromsoft titles. I also feel like the sense of scale isn’t used as well as it could be. You’re in a 32' tall mech, but you rarely feel

Wrecking Ball is like 500 years old in hamster years.

Wouldn’t exactly call it a “fortune”. Games has just over 12k reviews. At its peak in July, it had just over 11k active players. So I’d assume they sold somewhere between those two figures. 11.5k x $8.30 = $95,450. But Steam takes 30% on all sales up to $10M, so this figure gets whittled down to $66,815.

They’ve had little incentive to upgrade it. The masses seemed to get over the relatively low resolution pretty quickly because Nintendo’s own IP played well and looked fine on it, and I’m assuming their IP was the primary reason why anyone bought one of these. Third party game ports were just the icing on the cake,

This just got me confused. Isn’t this how all meals work?

If you are referring to this as a between meals snack, then I hate to break it to you that it carries 32% DV worth of sodium and 41% DV fat. Basically a full meal’s worth, if not more of both, despite it being a relatively small amount of food. So you kind of are getting inundated with sodium, but that’s par for the

Sekiro is way different in combat and movement. Everything is centered around deflections instead of i-frames, and there’s a visible posture (poise) bar. You also can’t swap main weapons, nor upgrade the weapon (buffs aside).

Sure, there’s a whole lot of engineering behind them, but a whole lot of engineering also probably went into getting the Fiat Multipla on the road, and look how that turned out.

I respect the hell out of the decision to say “this is done” instead of going back to milk this cow until it is dead or this era’s Zelda game jumps the shark. Better leaving people with fond memories instead of a bad taste in the mouth.

Because it’s just enough to trigger your body’s natural defense response with things like adrenalin spikes and increased heart rate and sensory response, but not enough to cause permanent damage. So if you can handle the heat, you still get the gratification of the food, but with a layer of excitement that your mind

Could be useful in a crowded house where the PS5 is connected to the main shared TV, but people want to actually watch TV while you want to play a game. But Sony didn’t really need to release a device for that. A PC streaming option was fine.

Someone should make this, but actually have two wheels in the back and a sub $10k price tag.

It’s because this was done on the same Hollywood sound stage and they recycled a lot of the props.

It’s still a propulsion/keel issue with a kite sail. Being pulled from the front or pushed in the middle will result is the need for a large keel to aid the rudder(s) in keeping the boat tracking in the desired direction, which is often not the same as the direction of the wind. The keel is less of a requirement when

One of the bigger issues is the fact that cargo ships don’t have large keels because they need to dock at relatively shallow man-made ports and they already have significant draft. If they were to have an effective, proportional keel for sailing, this would be impossible. So to use sails, new strategies have to be

While barely a “demo”, Matrix Awakens is explorable and does nicely to showcase a fraction of UE5's potential. The city and lighting looks gorgeous, and it runs nicely on most platforms. Granted, you can’t do anything but explore and there’s really no objective, but it did blow me away as far as early hands-on peeks

I like having a hardware SIM slot for travel. I used to like dual SIM phones, but since eSIM, I digitized my SIM and now use my one SIM slot for foreign data SIMs. Until everyone globally is onboard with eSIM, I still want a slot.

An MS engineer went on the record years later after RROD stating that it wasn’t actually max thermal temps, but rather thermal cycling (on/off hot & cold cycles) that caused connectors on the 360 to break down. While the 360 got hotter than the current Series X, they weren’t concerned with the max performance temps

Must be exhausting. Like, what is “I’m working and have to do this” vs “I’m off the clock”? The line is practically invisible these days with social media. A star is expected, or rather, demanded to be available as that star 24/7 now. And some will say “that’s the price for that lifestyle”. I suppose there’s some

I’ve never really met any celebrity I admire, so I’m not sure how I’d handle it myself. I did see Danny McBride in an airport super late at night. We were both walking to the luggage carousel with no one else around, and he was by himself. I thought about just saying something nice about his work (I’m a fan), but then
