One thing I sort-of wish was mentioned was ease of cleaning. I’ve purchased a few of the teardrop-shaped ones but the reservoir tends to get moldy sooner or later, and cleaning the inside top of it is a challenge without using basically a cleaning snake or musical instrument cleaner.

I remember by pickup had an Audiovox tape deck that had auto-reverse so if a tape needed to be flipped it would just play it the other way. That feature also caused these tape-adapters to not work as it would constantly try to flip back and forth every 2 seconds.

I think it’s mostly due to the timing of it all.  They just delayed their expansion that adds human NPC’s to the wasteland to liven up the place to an unknown date next year.  So rather than improving the existing game for everyone, they pumped out a paid subscription for features like a private server.

Yeah that sounds like a first-gen i7 processor... that’ll always be the bottleneck in this particular build. If any money is to be spent, it should be on building the next PC.

Agree here, 8GB is about where I find RAM no longer produces a benefit.
