Unfortunately, because I make custom one-offs (like someone’s pet or a just-like-me kind of doll) my prices aren’t that cheap. I can’t do a R&C pair like you see on Amazon for $20. Just not possible.

Get Unbeatable Squirrel Girl. It just started in January, so it's six issues in. Each story is more or less independent, but the Galacticus one was a two parter.

She may be a biiiiit too young for Ms Marvel, but Squirrel Girl. Oh. Goodness. Squirrel Girl. Bonus in that she almost always defeats enemies with logic alone.

It's four trades actually. But they're reprinting them (35$ msrp) or you can go digital and get each for about 10$ in the marvel shop. If you have marvel unlimited, which is amazing for binge reading, it's all on there included.

Granted I live in a major city, so kicking out a few butthurt people helps him way more than hurts him. It's the first comic shop I've seen that parents take their little kids to- especially little girls, who sadly get shafted by asshole behavior.

Find a topic you like and seriously just dive in. A few suggestions- the She Hulk 2012 run is 12 issues (two soft bound books) and complete. Me Marvel is ongoing and not too long. Squirrel girl is only on issue 6 and a blast. Groot just started and is beautiful. And I’m digging the new Hellboywhich only has 5 or 6…

Have you played the Future trilogy? That's very much NOT the case. Ratchets backstory is hinted in some of the other titles and the reason as to why he's an orphan in the first place is the entire plot.
