For the record, I was applying for the IIP, which is the State Department's PR/out reach arm. I worked on State Department blogs and sites and answered questions/wrote FAQs, exactly what I was doing as a Telltale volunteer.

I used to be a volunteer forum moderator for Telltale Games, and labelled it clearly as such under additional experience. Clearly not a paid position, clearly doing it on my own time, and not an official representative.
