Well, that was as clear as mud.

You are correct, sir. My apologies to Mr. Hoffman.
Not just a vehicle, but a “Hackney Coach” which is drawn by two horses and carries six passengers. Imagine doing the Al Pacino “I’m waking here!” thing except instead of the hood of a New York yellow cab it’s a pair of six foot 1000 pound horses.
I see other people have replied. I just want to stress that this thing is hybrid electric and has a generator. It can’t quite do the thing a hybrid car does where it shuts off the engine and runs on just the battery, but it can shut off one of the two engines. It uses a system manufactured by Safran which you can read…
It’s hybrid electric. They don’t seem to be very clear on the details, but I think that it has two engines hooked to a generator which then powers the electric motors. Cutting one engine off reduces generator output, put the power can still go wherever needed.
Tesla has issued a recall on CyberHammers, Musk revealed in a post on X (formerly Twitter). The “hammer of the future” may lose functionality while in use and be rendered unable to whack stuff. Tesla has said this will be addressed in the next software update.
Even assuming they do survive and they do solve the technical issues, they are moving into a highly competitive and untested market. No one is really sure what a mature robotaxi company will look like. Is there enough demand? Can it compete with human driven Ubers and Lyfts? Probably, but nobody really knows. And if…
A staging area implies that these cars have been sold and are being prepped for delivery. That’s not the case here. Their earnings report stated that Tesla overproduced by more than 46,000 units in the first quarter alone. Those are cars without buyers and have to be stored somewhere.
The fact is it may seem “slow”, but Optimus has been amazingly successful. Tesla’s humanoid robot has performed at or near all its desired benchmarks in the three critical areas of the program’s design: 1.) Provide distraction from the utter tailspin Tesla is in, 2.) Maintain unavailability for outside testing, 3.)…
Kanye West uses new Cybertruck to drive Kristi Noem to puppy mill.
It takes a special type of person to go to a car based website, read an entire article about a new Ferrari, and then take the time to post in the comments that they have no interest in Ferraris.
“So NYPD leadership doesn’t seem to know what a “New York City” bike lock is?”
I’ve been to that part of Michigan. The trees are even worse than deer in getting out of the way.
I refuse to believe the 202 is real and not an animation cell from a Miyazaki movie.
“Bro, listen to reason! Sell the Tesla and buy more Ethereums, bro!”
“If somebody doesn’t believe Tesla is going to solve autonomy, I think they should not be an investor in the company”
Now, if you really wanted to get me with a truck that has no need for a bed, you would have posted the modified 1982 Ford F350 from Buckaroo Banzai. Off road capabilities? Who cares? Why go over a mountain when you can go through it.
