I spent three weeks in Sao Paulo for work back in 1998 and even in the nice areas hearing gunshots was way more common than it is in a gun-torn US city like Chicago. From what I understand the wealth distribution hasn't gotten any better.

It was pricey but I love my Panasonic ES-LA93-K. Good shave even after three days without, the multiple blades mean I usually shave with a single pass. Basically no irritation for me. Battery life is awesome, after a 15 day trip without plugging it in I was still at 70% charge. The only real problem is that the

$26,685 for the bottom of the line one with no options. You can buy a couple of awfully nice quads for that along with a used truck and trailer to haul them to the woods.

Dragon Dictate does it nearly perfectly and has been able to do it pretty darn well since the early 90s. Their demos used to use a Boston, Chicago, Texas, and Tennessee native back to back to back and handles them all. I've never really understood why the car systems are SO bad at it when the software to do it well

Nobody has mentioned that strippers all drive a Mitsubishi Eclipse yet? The ones at the nicer clubs drive the convertible version.

I was under the impression that the 3 and 4 cylinder eco-boost had the exhaust manifold combined with the head but the 6 cylinder ones still used traditional cast manifolds.

Is the ecoboost engine actually lighter or is that 25 pounds the other direction? Cast manifolds and turbos aren't a small amount of weight hanging off each side of the engine.

Must have been fast moving with that few cars burnt. Normally in any fire or flood the scum of the earth have enough time to prepare and the streets would be parked both sides nose to tail with insurance fraud vehicles.

2000 Toyota Celica GT-S. Let's see if I can even remember all the warranty issues it had.

What, no pictures of the headsock?

Salamander Designs. Fully customizable with a bit of a industrial feel. Made with actual wood not laminated fiber board but about the same price point as a lot of products that are pressed sawdust. My Archetype system holds my amps and components without any concerns about the weight of the gear at all.

What! No crew cab dually 4x4 Cummins 3500s? I thought there was some sort of rule that all rural drag strips had to have at least three of them. Last time I went to Dragway 42 (Motto—choose the left lane or be prepared to dodge the potholes at the 1000' mark) the localish rural drag strip around here I got lined up

Monks Café, Jose Pistolas, Prohibition Taproom. Lots of good beer joints in Philly and most of them have good food too. Unfortunately they are in Philly and all seem to be infected with the worst case of hipster you've ever seen.

I'll be honest here. I would like to have a few beers with whomever used the term "Kevorkianesque" in a field report. I think this is a person whom I would enjoy drinking with.

We were in Denver for GABF a few years back touring breweries up in Boulder. On the way to visit Redstone Meadery when we passed a BMW dealer. Which had a red M1 sitting outside. My sister-in-law who was driving thought I was kidding when I said "Turn around now, I have to go look at that car" Had a big note taped

Do they charge for the Armco at the Ring when you take it out like that the way they do at most tracks in the US?

In 2013 in Ohio there were 13 workers killed in work zone accidents. I'm sure their families do not think this is a problem nobody is having.

Wasn't there a porn parody that had female storm troopers and a rather disturbing bestiality\wookie thing going on?

Power and efficiency numbers aren't out yet, but Lima has a history of producing great power plants like the Lima four in my old Merkur.
